Venue Partnerships Intern at SpotHero:

The Venue Partnerships intern will support SpotHero’s Venue Partnerships team in identifying and developing partnership opportunities with sports teams, arenas, and other entertainment venues. This role will help research potential partners, assist with outreach efforts, and support the team in launching and maintaining partnerships.

This internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports partnerships, venues/arenas, and business development within a tech marketplace.

What you’ll do:

• Research sports teams, venues, and entertainment partners that may be good partnership opportunities for SpotHero.

• Assist the partnerships team with outreach to potential partners via email and other channels.

• Help prepare basic research, materials, and background information for partnership discussions and pitches.

• Support the launch of new partnerships by helping organize marketing materials and promotional assets.

• Assist with tracking partnership activity, reporting, and general administrative support for the partnerships team.

• Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, operations, revenue, and analytics to gather information needed for partnership initiatives.

Who you are:

• Strong communicator with good written and verbal communication skills.

• Curious and eager to learn about sports partnerships, marketing, and business development.

• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Interested in the intersection of sports, technology, and live events.

What you bring:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sports Administration, Business, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.

• Strong interest in sports, entertainment venues, partnerships, or marketing.

• Comfortable conducting research and organizing information.

• Basic familiarity with MS Office, Google Docs, or similar tools is a plus.

Seeking Candidates in

• Chicago, IL - 1-2 days per week in office

Compensation in Illinois:

• $20/hour; 40 hours a week
