Venue Cleaner & Light Maintenance

Job Title: Daytime Venue Cleaner (Light Maintenance required)

Position Summary:
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of our wedding venue during daytime hours (outside of events). This role focuses on deep cleaning, upkeep, and ensuring all spaces are pristine, organized, and ready for upcoming events.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning & Venue Upkeep

Perform daily cleaning of all interior spaces including event areas, suites, kitchen, hallways, and restrooms

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all floors, surfaces, and fixtures

Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and all glass surfaces throughout the venue

Promptly clean spills and maintain spotless floors and surfaces at all times

Empty trash and replace liners in all areas

Restock restroom and kitchen supplies as needed

Deep Cleaning Duties

Conduct routine deep cleaning of chandeliers, light fixtures, and high-touch areas

Thoroughly clean staircases, railings, and hard-to-reach spaces

Deep clean kitchen areas including counters, sinks, appliances, and storage areas

Detail clean event spaces to ensure a polished, high-end appearance

Clean and maintain all suites, ensuring they are guest-ready at all times

Light Maintenance

Replace light bulbs and report any outages or electrical concerns

Perform minor repairs (tightening fixtures, adjusting hardware, etc.)

Identify and report any damage or larger maintenance needs

Assist with maintaining exterior entryways and walkways as needed

General Duties:

Follow all safety and cleaning protocols

Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies

Work independently to complete daily and weekly task lists

Take pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation

Qualifications:

Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to notice small imperfections

Ability to lift up to 10 to 30 lbs. and work on feet for extended periods

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

Ability to work daytime hours consistently

20 to 40 hours per week - weekend required

Work Environment:

Indoor work with occasional outdoor upkeep

Quiet, non-event setting focused on preparation and maintenance

Physical role requiring standing, bending, reaching, and climbing (for chandeliers or high areas)
