Antai Ventures is a Barcelona-based venture studio with presence across Southern Europe and Latam. Since 2012 we have co-founded +30 companies including Glovo, Wallapop, Nemuru, PlatanoMelon, Balance, and Piper AI. Our ventures have raised more than $1.5B in funding, have generated more than $3B in shareholders value and currently employ more than 3.000 people.
At Antai, we partner-up and invest in the best co-founders to build global companies willing to disrupt multi-billion dollar industries. In the last 10 years, we have gained experience in a variety of business models (E-Commerces/DNVBs, B2B SaaS, Marketplaces) operating in a wide range of industries including Vertical SaaS, EdTech, HealthTech, FinTech, InsurTech, and FemTech, among others.
As a Venture Lead in Antai, you will be responsible for:
🛠️ Business Creation:
• Coordinate the identification and analysis of new business models within the digital space (B2B and B2C) as potential venture opportunities.
• Lead the creation and investment in new ventures, actively participating in strategy, team recruitment, product development, and corporate operations.
đź’Ľ Portfolio Management:
• Lead Antai’s support to selected portfolio companies, in strategy and go-to-market initiatives (strategic agreements, joint ventures, internationalisation, and synergies across the portfolio).
• Actively monitor key business KPIs of selected portfolio companies.
• Lead Antai’s support in investment round structuring, fundraising, and investor relations.
• Oversee M&A operations related to selected Antai portfolio companies, including investment rounds, mergers, joint ventures, acquisitions, asset sales, and exits.
You will be part of a small and highly motivated team with a very flat organizational structure, having direct exposure to Antai’s founders and the CEOs of its companies.
📌 What are we looking for?
• +7 years of previous experience in consulting, M&A, VC, and/or management-level position in a start-up or scale-up;
• +3 years experience in the Spanish startup ecosystem;
• Proficiency in spoken and written English & Spanish;
• Strong entrepreneurial skills;
• Strong relational and interpersonal skills;
• Strong strategic business mindset;
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively and influence cross-functional teams;
• Ability to present complex information in simple terms;
• Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects;
• Passion for the digital sector and an entrepreneurial mindset.
