We have immediate openings for "Vendor Development- Manager" for our Reputed Manufacturing Client located in Dharwad.

About Position:-

Position: Asst. Manager / Dy. Manager - Vendor Development

Experience: 7-14 yrs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Price negotiations and Sourcing strategies of material

• Procurement of packaging material to meet marketing and production requirement.
• Incumbent should take initiatives for advance buying and new supplier development.
• Co-ordination with managers to understand specific needs and conceptualize the Design and Development of packaging.
• Alternate source development.
• Negotiation with Vendor for price, quality, and delivery schedule etc.
• Coordinating with Production planner
• On-going cost reduction projects.
• Thorough knowledge of pricing, features, consumption, durability etc. for different materials.
• Must ensure timely delivery of all packaging initiatives meeting all quality requirements

• Experience in Supplier Assessment
• Experience Part Costing
• Thorough knowledge on Taxation
• Experience in Order Scheduling
• Experience in Logistics lead time calculation
• Experience in Project Handling knowledge.
• Experience in cost reduction. (Kaizen Skill)
• Experience in Supplier monitoring

Technical Competencies

1. Hardcore experience in manufacturing processes.

2. Experience in Negotiation skill

3. Experience in Supplier handling skill

4. Experience in APQP & PPAP
