Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties

• Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions

• Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other vehicle systems

• Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs efficiently

• Assemble, disassemble, and replace vehicle components as required

• Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and service history

• Perform equipment repair and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime

• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction

Experience

• Proven experience as a Car Mechanic or Vehicle Technician in a professional workshop environment

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively

• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and safety standards

• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Must be able to do a full range of jobs from servicing/brakes suspension work. Cambelts and clutches. Diagnostic work ect on all makes and models
