Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic/ Service Technician/ MOT Tester with franchise dealership experience?
We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician or qualified MOT Tester to join our client’s Dealership. The main aim of this role is to accurately, skilfully and efficiently undertake the repair and servicing of customers vehicles, and/or undertaking MOT testing. Whilst detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair ensuring all work is completed safely and to the customer’s satisfaction.
Key responsibilities…
• Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
• Conducting vehicle service in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requests
• Carrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer
• Warranty repairs are per the manufacturer’s guidelines and relevant write up is complete
• Taking the customers vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard
What you’ll bring…
• Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we would be interested in talking to you
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (required, but level 2 will be considered)
• A team-player who is comfortable operating with set processes and procedures
• Full UK Driving licence
• Motivated, dedicated and organised with a focus on Health & Safety in the workplace
• MOT License would be desirable, but not essential as full training will be offered
• An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
