Vehicle Conversion Technician

We currently have a great new opportunity for a  Vehicle Conversion Technician (Fitter) to join our friendly but driven team at our Glasgow Depot. Our Vehicle Hire Division hire a range of light commercial vehicles to companies ranging from blue chip corporations and public sector organisations to medium sized enterprises. The Vehicle Conversion Technician (Fitter) will  join us to carry out all vehicle modifications effectively and efficiently, and in line with our customers specification.

 Key Tasks and Responsibilities 

• To ensure all job cards and admin are completed and returned

• Observe all relevant Health & Safety Procedures

• Remove and refit of external and internal parts

• Fitting of auto electrical equipment

• Fitting and wiring tow bars

• Modification of Vehicles

• Housekeeping of work area

• Safe use of power tools and equipment where required

• Other associated works

• Lining of vans

• Building and construction shelving

Applicants for the role should have:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to use your own initiative
• Ability to follow safe working practices

• Driven, self-motivated, able to think on your feet and work well under pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to deliver quality and safety with every vehicle.
• Experience of working with customers as an ambassador of the Company
• Team player with a flexible attitude
• Excellent punctuality
• Valid driver's licence
