What You Will Do

• Proactively source vehicles from customers through the service drive, internet leads, referrals, and outbound prospecting efforts.

• Engage customers to create opportunities to purchase or trade their vehicles, clearly presenting the value of selling to the dealership.

• Appraise vehicles using market data, vehicle condition, and dealership inventory needs to structure competitive and strategic offers.

• Follow up consistently on acquisition opportunities to convert leads into purchased inventory.

• Build relationships with customers and prospects to generate repeat and referral business.

• Partner with sales and used car leadership to align acquisition activity with inventory strategy and demand.

• Track all activity, appraisals, and customer interactions accurately in dealership systems.

• Support inventory growth while contributing to dealership goals around volume, gross, and turn.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in automotive sales, vehicle acquisition, or appraisal is strongly preferred.

• A confident communicator who can build rapport quickly and handle negotiations professionally.

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.

• Ability to work independently while staying aligned with team and dealership goals.

• Strong market awareness and the ability to evaluate opportunities effectively.

• Comfortable using CRM tools, appraisal systems, and digital communication platforms.

• Professional and customer-focused.

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Pay: 72,000 - $144,000 / year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, commissions, overtime, benefits (vacation and sick), etc. The hourly rate for this position is minimum wage. Commissions range from $38,000 to $110,000 per year based on performance.
