Vega System Admin (12 months contractor)

Responsibilities:
•
Administer and maintain the in-house OA platform, ensuring high availability, reliability, performance, and security across the organization.

Configure and optimize workflows, approval processes, user roles, and permissions to support operational efficiency and enforce internal controls.

•
Perform simple scripting or coding to customize workflows, support automation, and troubleshoot system behavior where required.

•
Collaborate with product, engineering, finance, and other business teams to implement system upgrades, new features, and system integrations through APIs and other integration methods.

•
Troubleshoot and resolve system bugs, workflow errors, and integration issues in a timely manner to minimize business disruption.

•
Support automation initiatives by integrating AI tools and other technologies within the OA platform to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.

•
Monitor system performance and usage metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

•
Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, workflows, integrations, and audit trails.

•
Provide technical support, guidance, and training to users across departments to ensure effective adoption and usage of the system.

•
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable workflow solutions.

•
Ensure the OA platform scales effectively as the company expands into new teams, markets, and business processes.

Requirements:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

•
3+ years of experience in system administration or managing internal business systems or workflow platforms.

•
Experience with system integrations, including APIs, data synchronization, and cross-platform workflow automation.

•
Ability to perform simple coding or scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL, or similar) to support system customization and integrations.

•
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.

•
Comfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

•
Experience working in fast-paced technology, start up, or crypto environments.

•
Familiarity with AI tools, automation platforms, or low-code/no-code workflow systems.

•
Understanding of finance or compliance-related workflows and internal control environments.
