Job Disruption:

The role involves working directly with the Users and developing solutions as required by the Business. Typically these will be various tactical solutions to aid the user, which may be stand-alone tools or may integrate with mainstream systems.

Each member of the team has their own projects, which they progress through the entire development life cycle. The candidate should demonstrate ownership and end to end responsibility in the tasks/projects assigned, and should be capable of participating in user or management meetings to gain more knowledge of the project work.

The candidate is also expected to provide post production support and also find ways to improve performance of various modules or components requiring strong analysis, research and debugging skills.

The candidate should be open to working in shifts (up to 11pm). As per company policies, transport drops will be provided if the candidate is working in a late shift.

Technical (Must Have Skills):

Expert Level VBA Programming.

MS Access Database Concepts (2007 & 2003).

Expert Level Excel Macros & MS Access Macros (2007 & 2003).

Expert Level SQL (Structured Query Language).

Technical (Nice to Have Skills):

· Basic working knowledge of SharePoint.

· Basic knowledge of QTP\VB Script.

Behavioral (Must Have Skills):

· Attention to detail is absolutely critical

· High level of personal commitment to each task, a can-do attitude and a drive to deliver.

· Ability to gather and understand requirements.

· Excellent documentation skills.

· Good analysis skills in order to aid in trouble shooting and problem solving

· Good testing principles as well as good defect management skills

· Effective verbal and written communication skills with a sound knowledge of email ethics.

· Be able to prioritize and manage users' expectations

· Strong time management and planning skills

· Experience of working in a fast paced environment.

Business (Nice to Have Skills):

·Prior experience in a similar role to support the Financial Services industry.

 Educational / Experience

· Must have Bachelor's degree or Above, in related stream of education from an accredited college/university

· 4+ years of relevant technical experience required
