Capitol Cardiology: Echo and Vascular Technologist
Location: Camp Springs, MD
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Join a well-established private practice, with a track record of success as the largest cardiology group in Prince Georges County. Capitol Cardiology provides 6 locations all within a short distance to Washington DC. The organization is looking to add a Certified Echo/ Vascular Technologist. We offer a full array of cardiology services including Interventional, Electrophysiology and an OBL. All our locations have ultrasound Echo/Vasc modalities. We offer SPECT in most locations and Cardiac PET in central location.
Responsibilities
Perform echocardiograms using specialized equipment and techniques.
Collaborating with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
Reviewing and analyzing echocardiogram images to identify potential abnormalities.
Conduct non-invasive vascular examinations, including ultrasound, to create detailed images and measurements of blood vessels.
Analyze images and data, and generate reports for physicians to interpret and utilize for patient care.
Maintaining accurate records of procedures, patient information, and image documentation.
Ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of ultrasound equipment.
Ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy during examinations.
Requirements
Must have RVT or RDCS certification. Prefers both but one or the other is required.
Must have 2 years of experience as a Vascular/ Echo Tech.
