VAMSYSTEMS is currently looking for SQL Server DBA for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Skill Set required:

• 5 plus years of experience as DBA (SQL 2000, 2005, 2008R2 & 2012), ORACLE 10g & 11G.
• Expertise in SQL Server & Oracle Database Administration.
• Prefer candidates who can handle oracle exadata admin task too.
• Extensive experience in High availability & Disaster Recovery.
• Experience in installation, support, maintenance, patching, upgrade technical support of oracle database and application including RAC environment.
• Extensive experience in backup and restore procedures.
• Experience in Batch process, Import, Export, Backup, SQL Loader, Database Monitoring tool, schedule jobs monitoring and application support.
• Extensive experience in architecture, replication management and interaction with management teams.
• Extensive experience in Installation, Configuration and Upgrading of SQL Server, Client Software and related products for Production, Development and Test Environment.
• Extensive experience in controlling the user privileges, monitoring the security and Audit issues
• Integration Services, and Analysis Services and Reporting Services.
• Experience in data warehouse development environment using Microsoft DTS, SSIS and SSRS.
• Expertise in creation and maintenance of Procedures, Triggers and Functions.
• Expertise in writing the Complex Queries using joins.
• Strong knowledge of database development and release management concepts, practices and procedures along with performance tuning database code in OLTP and OLAP environments.
• Experienced in Data loading using T-SQL, fine tuning of database and improving performance.
• Experience in writing SQL Loader scripts for Extract, Transformation and Loading of data.
• Expertise in SQL Query Performance Analysis skills and ability to redesign for optimal efficiency.
• Knowledge with HTML, XML, VB Script, ASP, IIS, website design, FTP, Telnet, uploading, software development life cycle.

Terms and conditions:

Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks).
