Validation Technician

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Validation Technician for a contract opportunity in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Validation Technician Job Details

We are looking for a candidate that possesses experience debugging PC hardware platforms, building systems and configuring hardware. Will run predefined software installation and tests in a controlled environment, and records both the system set up and test results accurately. Will assist in layout changes in the lab by rewiring configurations and assisting with machine placements.

Validation Technician Mandatory Skills

Experience installing and running - Various PC operating systems including VMware, Windows, and Linux.

Good - Verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment.

Can follow Technical directions carefully and accurately.

Must have networking and server management experience.

Must be able to setup and configure virtual machines in a VMware network.

Must understand SRIOV and VMDq.
