We’re involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new testing equipment.

What you’ll achieve
As a Test Senior Principal Engineer in Validation Manager (VM) senior role in our Validation Engineering department, you will be leading a LOB portfolio test execution team on global validation collaboration and cross functional engagement with primary focus on platform/product development and support to ensure coordinated validation test strategy, plan and execution. You are responsible to synthesize a collection of validation activities and inputs to achieve program commitments. You will also be leading or supporting Validation initiatives for long-term improvement and transformation.

You will:

• Govern validation process consistency and execution rigor at portfolio level, both NPI and Sustaining.
• Ensure alignment with peer VMs on critical activities across the board.
• Front-end validation support including review validation NRE, RFQ.
• Define and develop test strategy to maximize efficiency with calculated risks at portfolio level.
• Responsible for ODM escalation support/management as needed.
• Ensure issue management effectiveness and ATS process are followed.
• Drive Validation process compliance and LL implementation at portfolio level.
• Monitor, communicate, and escalate programs resource risk and health at portfolio level.
• Mentoring & coaching junior validation engineers (developing next generation of VMs).
• Review and approve phase entry/exit (except FV entry/exit).
• Provide consolidated QBR feedback from validation engineering at portfolio level.

Essential Requirements

• Ability to think strategically, deal with ambiguity with engineering rigor, and influence others through effective communication at executive level
• Must possess a demonstrated understanding of PC Client industry with proven record of product development experiences to lead validation test strategy and test plan review, address technical problems, and resolve key issues for complex solutions. 

• Experience in SW/HW validation with fluent English communication skill

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering related fields
• 12+ years of related experience in the PC Engineering/development industry
• Experiences in the project leadership role leading a virtual team
