To support this mission, we’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Property Inspector to join us as an independent contractor. This role is key to ensuring our homes are clean, fully stocked, and guest-ready prior to each arrival.
About this Role
In this role, the Property Inspector is responsible for ensuring each home meets Red Rock’s standards before guest arrival. This position requires the ability to work independently, a strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach when addressing time-sensitive, guest-impacting concerns.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed inspections to evaluate cleanliness, presentation, inventory, and maintenance needs
Complete the following inspection types:
Submit standardized inspection reports using company software
Perform light cleaning touch-ups and minor maintenance (lightbulbs, batteries, filters, etc.)
Verify inventory accuracy and condition
Deliver wristbands to designated properties when required
Escalate and document issues that could impact guest satisfaction
Qualifications & Requirements
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for documentation
Ability to travel between properties within the Desert Color area
Physically able to perform light labor and walk multiple properties daily
Professional, dependable, and solutions-oriented
Contractor Details
This is a 1099 contractor position
Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, workers’ compensation, and equipment
Flexible schedule with availability needed Thursday - Sunday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
No guarantee or expectation of a set number of assignments
May complete 5-10 inspections per day, based on availability
Must act with urgency and discretion on guest-impacting issues
Compensation Structure
Compensation is paid per unit, based on the number of bedrooms:
Pay Rate by Bedroom Count per Unit
1 Bedroom – $15.00
2–3 Bedrooms – $20.00
4–5 Bedrooms – $25.00
6–7 Bedrooms – $30.00
8–9+ Bedrooms – $35.00
Wristband Drop-Offs – $5.00 per drop-off
