What awaits you 

Create and iterate on user interface designs using Figma as the primary design and prototyping platform, ensuring consistency and collaboration across teams 

Leverage AI-integrated workflows and tools to accelerate AI-supported design processes and UI code generation, enhancing efficiency and innovation in product development 

Establish user-centered design as an integral part of agile product development across BMW Group IT and international hubs 

Consult internal teams on UX and UI design principles participate in UI/UX Community of Practices 

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver user-focused, innovative, and technically feasible solutions 

Maintain and evolve design systems and patterns, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability 

Deliver visually appealing, intuitive, and user-centric designs across web and mobile platforms 

Contribute to the BMW design system by defining reusable components and interaction models 

Conduct user research including interviews, surveys, and usability tests 

Interpret and transform business and user needs into meaningful design solutions 

What should you bring along  

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field  

Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or a similar role for at least 3-5 years of experience, with a portfolio showcasing your work 

Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture 

Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics 

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions clearly 

Experience in the conception of user interfaces for web-based applications (ideally enterprise applications and/or automotive environment) including responsive design 

Extensive knowledge in user experience, user centered design, usability, information architecture and the corresponding foundations and best practices 

Proven expertise in Figma as a key design and prototyping tool for delivering user-centered design solutions 

Experience in leveraging AI-integrated design workflows, including AI-assisted UI code generation, design automation,  AI UX patterns to enhance productivity and innovation is a strong plus 

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and team-oriented work behaviour  

Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation 

Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic understanding of front-end development 

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working with agile product teams
