Job Description
We are seeking a UX Developer to own and elevate frontend engineering across a suite of Python-based applications. This role is responsible for designing and building scalable, consistent, and high-performing UI experiences while establishing frontend standards for the broader engineering team.
The current team is primarily backend-focused, and this role will serve as the primary frontend builder initially. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, comfortable refactoring existing UI layers, and capable of partnering closely with backend engineers to deliver cohesive application experiences.
This is not a design-only role. You will be expected to both design and build frontend solutions within Python-based systems.
Enterprise experience strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and refactor front-end UI components across existing applications
- Improve usability, consistency, and performance of current UI experiences
- Establish reusable frontend patterns, standards, and best practices
- Serve as the primary UI developer for new applications initially
- Partner with backend engineers to design and implement new application features
- Understand the broader application ecosystem and refactor UI layers accordingly
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience with React
- Experience working within Python-based applications
- SQL proficiency for data interaction and debugging
- Experience establishing frontend standards and scalable UI patterns
- Ability to work independently in a backend-heavy engineering environment
 
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Snowflake experience
- Streamlit experience
