Our client is an advisory firm built on a family-office model, providing integrated tax, tax planning, financial planning, and investment planning services. Their clients include high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, business owners, professional athletes, coaches, entertainers, real estate investors, and high W-2 earners.

The Tax Manager / Senior Tax Professional will play a critical role in managing complex tax engagements, advising high-profile clients, and driving proactive tax planning strategies.
This individual will serve as both a technical expert and a strategic partner to clients, with exposure to individual, business, nonprofit, and partnership taxation.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in compliance and planning, comfortable working with sophisticated clients, and capable of analyzing financial data to uncover meaningful tax-saving opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Compliance & Review
• Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns, including:
• Individual returns (Form 1040)
• C-Corporations (Form 1120)
• S-Corporations (Form 1120-S)
• Partnerships (Form 1065)
• Nonprofits (Form 990)
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely filing of all returns
• Manage multi-entity structures and consolidated tax considerations
Tax Planning & Strategy
• Proactively identify tax planning opportunities for HNW and UHNW clients
• Develop and implement tax strategies related to:
• Business ownership and entity structuring
• Real estate investments and cost segregation
• Compensation planning and high W-2 income strategies
• Estimated tax payments and cash flow planning
• Analyze client accounts, financial statements, and investment activity to support tax-efficient decision-making
• Collaborate with internal advisors on integrated tax, financial, and investment strategies
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and high-profile individuals
• Communicate complex tax concepts clearly and eƯectively
• Participate in client meetings and strategic planning discussions
• Provide white-glove service consistent with a family-oƯice experience
Accounting & Financial Reporting (Business Clients)
• Oversee or assist with monthly accounting and bookkeeping engagements
• Prepare and review financial statements for business clients
• Use financial data to support tax planning, projections, and estimated payments
• Coordinate audit and tax insights to improve accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
Ideal Candidate Profile
Technical Expertise
• USA CPA tax or Business management Experience
• Strong background in both tax compliance and tax planning/strategy
• Experience working with HNW and UHNW individuals and closely held businesses
• Proficiency in individual, partnership, corporate, and nonprofit taxation
• Audit experience is a strong plus, particularly for business and multi-entity clients
Professional Experience
• 5+ years of public accounting or family office experience preferred but not required
• Experience managing complex client engagements independently
• Prior exposure to athletes, entertainers, real estate professionals, or high-profile individuals is highly desirable
