Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare and review department-level P&Ls, company-wide P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements, and Sales Channel reports.
• Provide detailed analysis and commentary to support the executive financial package and guide strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with annual audits and support preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
• Monitor and report on bank covenants related to real estate loans on a monthly basis.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure accuracy of budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting processes across multiple departments.
• Partner with leadership to improve operational efficiency and scalability of financial systems.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience at the Senior Accountant level.
• Strong operational accounting background with exposure to multi-departmental environments.
• Experience with wholesale/retail product-based businesses and inventory accounting strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and variance reports.
• Familiarity with audit processes and bank reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and present financial insights to executives.
Work Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Pacific time
Work Setup: Work from home
