US Bookkeeper / Accountant (B2+ English | US Market Experience)

About the Role
• We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper/Accountant with proven experience supporting US-based clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, fluent in English (B2+), and proficient in leading accounting tools and standards used in the United States. You will work closely with internal teams and US stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and smooth day‑to‑day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping tasks for US clients.
• Process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements following US GAAP standards.
• Maintain clean financial records in QuickBooks and/or Xero.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support payroll processing for US companies (if applicable).
• Communicate directly with US clients in English, both written and verbal.
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience working with US-based clients or US accounting standards.
• English level B2+ (comfortable in calls with clients).
• Solid knowledge of:
• QuickBooks Online / QuickBooks Desktop
1. Xero
2. US GAAP
3. AR/AP processes
4. Excel (intermediate–advanced)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience leading small teams or overseeing accounting processes.
• Payroll processing experience for US companies (ADP, Gusto, Paychex, etc.).
• Knowledge of SQL or experience with data queries.
• Power BI or other BI/reporting tools.
• Experience in automation or accounting system integrations.
