Duration: 6 +months

Tasks:

The FEP Operations Center is seeking a senior developer to support for 2017 SOW029 Digital Experience.

No more than 1 resume per vendor. All candidates must be vetted by the vendor liaison prior to resume submission to FEPOC. A phone screen will be conducted by FEPOC staff prior to a technical, face-to-face assessment and interview.

The Service Benefit Plan Administrative Service Corporation (SBPASC) needs 1 (one) Senior Developer contractor. This individual will be a key member on the API Management team what leverage IBM API Management tool to create and manage API’s/Web Services. The responsibilities include execution of full software development life cycle activities in support of the project which will include but not limited to:

• Work directly with requirement analyst, architect, technical lead and other team members on design and development tasks.

• Accountable for meeting delivery milestones

• Conduct code review, unit and integration testing.

• Document API’s using Swagger and support API Management developer portal.

• User Acceptance testing support.

• Document system design and transfer maintenance work to FEPOC support team.

• Implement security architecture (OAuth), and other cross cutting concerns identified to meet FEPOC business needs.

Required Skills:

• Java and JavaScript knowledge

• Enterprise Web Service design, implementation and operational support

• Experience building REST and SOAP based web services, and securely invoking them as well.

• Security protocols and standards like OAuth, PKI,SSL etc. Knowledge of securing enterprise applications using right tools and protocols.

• XSLT

• Understanding of OAuth, Two way SSL protocol etc. and how to implement them in API Manager

• Unix Scripting

• Knowledge of API creation, socialization and security

Preferred skills

• IBM API Management Architecture / Administration and Development work

• Configure security, transformation for a simple-to-medium complexity API, enforcing SLM etc.

• Practical knowledge applying best practices for API Management.

• Integration Experience with Data Power using IBM API Management V5.0

• Development experience in Data Power along with IBM API Management V4.0+ Product

• Node JS experience

Software & Tools:

IBM API Manager 5.0.x, IBM DataPower 6.x or higher, JavaScript, XSLT, SOAP UI
