We are seeking a skilled and experienced Unix System Administrator to join our IT team based in Lisbon. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operational availability, performance, and security of Unix infrastructure across on-prem and cloud.
• Administer and maintain Unix-based systems, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Implement and manage system security policies and permissions to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
• Optimize system performance through tuning and resource management.
• Develop and maintain documentation and provide technical support.
• Plan and execute system migrations and upgrades.

• 3–5 years of hands-on Unix administration in operations/run.
• Fluent in English; technical English required.
• Rigorous, service-oriented, autonomous, strong team player.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills (written/verbal).

• Availability for on-call
