• Permanent contract - Luxembourg - hybrid mode 

At Sopra Steria, we design and operate secure, high‑performance digital platforms for large organisations. We are looking for a Unix/Linux DevOps Engineer with strong Java expertise to support and optimise enterprise Atlassian Jira & Confluence environments.

Your mission

• Administer and optimise RHEL-based Linux servers
• Support Java applications (Jira/Confluence) on Tomcat
• Perform JVM tuning, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting
• Manage Apache HTTPD, SSL/TLS, reverse proxies and integrations
• Ensure security, reliability, and compliance of critical platforms
• Collaborate with Atlassian admins, DevOps, and security teams

• 5+ years’ experience in Unix/Linux (RHEL) administration
• Strong expertise in Java, JVM tuning, Tomcat
• Solid knowledge of Apache, PostgreSQL, scripting (Bash/Python)
• Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and security best practices
• Structured, proactive, and team‑oriented mindset
• Fluent in English.
