Opened in 2018, our Turkey office operates as the R&D arm of Rapsodo. We have offices located in Bayraklı & Technopark in the Izmir Ege University, recognized by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology as one of Turkey’s most successful Technoparks. Our offices incorporate UI/UX, Mobile, Cloud Technologies along with Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Data Science and Unity teams. Rapsodo is rapidly growing, and we are looking for team players who will contribute to deliver state-of-the-art solutions with us. We're looking for a Unity Developer to join us!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect robust, scalable, modular systems for complex Unity applications (PC, mobile, embedded).
• Optimize performance across rendering, physics, memory/GC, and runtime efficiency; lead advanced profiling, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Integrate and manage APIs, SDKs, backend systems, and real-time data streams; ensure resilient networking (retry/backoff) and error handling.
• Develop and oversee multiplayer features (matchmaking, real-time communication, session management) with backend services (e.g., Nakama).
• Drive technical standards, development methodologies, and technical roadmap; evaluate new Unity features/tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in sprint planning, technical reviews, retrospectives; provide architectural guidance for enterprise-level projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of professional Unity development experience with multiple shipped projects (enterprise applications, simulation tools, or games)
• Strong proficiency in C# and Unity's scripting API
• Deep knowledge of Unity core systems (physics, rendering, asset management, input, scene management)
• Proven experience with multiplayer systems (matchmaking, synchronization, networking protocols)
• Hands-on experience with Nakama or similar backend solutions for multiplayer game services
• Hands-on experience with Zenject/Extenject or similar DI frameworks for Unity
• Strong background in backend service integration (REST, WebSocket, gRPC)
• Hands-on experience with performance profiling and optimization
• Advanced skills in performance profiling, optimization, and debugging
• Strong architectural thinking and system design capabilities
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Must be based in İzmir or willing to relocate to İzmir
