As a Groundman, your key responsibilities will be to support underground cable installation by using hand tools and equipment, maintain a safe and efficient job site, and assist crews with construction, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication and electrical distribution systems.

What it takes?

• 1-3 months of related construction, utility, or labor experience

• Ability to safely use hand tools and equipment for underground cable installation

• Demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and accountability on the jobsite

• Willingness to work under a union collective bargaining agreement

• A valid driver’s license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record

• Commercial Driver’s License (desired)

This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
