Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Underground Laborer with a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)! Duties
• Operate underground construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Assist with excavation, trenching, and installation of underground utilities such as water, sewer, or electrical lines.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites using your CDL vehicle.
• Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to complete tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to identify hazards or maintenance needs.
• Support team members in setting up work zones, barricades, and safety signage to ensure a secure environment.
• Maintain clear documentation of daily activities, materials used, and safety checks for project records.
Skills
• Valid CDL license with a clean driving record and experience operating commercial vehicles.
• Strong understanding of underground construction processes and safety standards.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations related to underground work sites.
• Reliable, punctual, with a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork.
