About the role

The UK Marketing Director is a regional marketing leadership role responsible for driving measurable contribution to pipeline growth, bookings progression, and market visibility across the UK business.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, with strong day-to-day alignment to the Managing Director, Europe, this role operates as a core member of the UK leadership team. You will partner closely with Sales and Alliances to shape revenue strategy, prioritize high-value growth opportunities, and deploy marketing investment where it creates the greatest commercial return.

This role exists to ensure that UK marketing is not reactive or functionally fragmented, but focused, disciplined, and directly accountable to commercial outcomes. You will embed a performance-led marketing culture while simultaneously elevating Ensono’s brand presence, competitive positioning, and executive credibility in the UK market.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring strategic vision, strong commercial instinct, executive presence, and the ability to convert market opportunity into measurable revenue impact.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Growth & Revenue Accountability

• Own accountability for UK marketing contribution to pipeline, bookings, and revenue performance.

• Partner with UK Sales leadership to align marketing strategy to priority revenue motions, named accounts, and new logo growth targets.

• Shape and activate focused go-to-market plans across priority verticals, ICP segments, and alliance propositions.

• Embed a disciplined performance framework ensuring marketing investment translates into qualified meetings, pipeline acceleration, and deal progression.

• Drive a delivery-led growth model where marketing success is measured by commercial outcomes — not activity metrics.

Strategic Go-to-Market Leadership

• Own the end-to-end UK marketing strategy aligned to defined sales priorities and growth ambitions.

• Proactively bring GTM recommendations, data-backed insight, and test-and-learn approaches to UK leadership forums.

• Lead targeted and repeatable account-based marketing motions (1:Many, 1:Few, 1:1) across enterprise and named accounts.

• Ensure cohesive execution across campaigns, events, partner marketing, content, digital programs, and outbound activity.

• Rapidly replicate high-performing motions while correcting underperformance with speed and rigor.

Brand presence & Market Positioning

• Elevate Ensono’s UK brand visibility, executive presence, and competitive differentiation.

• Ensure regionalized messaging clearly articulates Ensono’s value proposition across digital consulting, managed services, and transformation.

• Partner with communications and PR teams to strengthen thought leadership, analyst engagement, and executive visibility in the UK market.

• Develop a regional content strategy that supports both demand generation and brand authority, including customer advocacy, industry positioning, and strategic storytelling.

• Drive a coordinated social and digital presence that enhances brand credibility and employer brand in the UK.

Performance Management and commercial Insight

• Define and track ROI across all major marketing tactics including events, campaigns, digital programs, and partner investments.

• Partner with Marketing Operations and Sales to analyze which programs are driving meetings, opportunities, pipeline conversion, and bookings.

• Deliver monthly commercial marketing readouts to UK leadership and the CMO with clear recommendations for investment reallocation or expansion.

• Establish customer acquisition cost benchmarks and pipeline contribution targets.

• Ensure full transparency of marketing performance and impact across the sales funnel.

Budget ownership & investment Governance

• Own planning and optimization of the UK marketing budget aligned to revenue objectives.

• Secure joint agreement with CMO, Sales, and Alliance leadership on quarterly investment priorities.

• Advocate for appropriate allocation of shared services resources to meet UK commercial goals.

• Develop data-supported proposals for incremental marketing investment tied to measurable growth opportunities.

• Maintain strict financial discipline across spend, margin contribution, and ROI realization.

Regional Leadership & Cross Functional Alignment

• Serve as the in-region proxy for the Chief Marketing Officer.

• Act as the single point of accountability for all UK marketing activity.

• Maintain close alignment with Sales, Alliances, Consulting, and Digital leaders to ensure marketing priorities reflect business realities.

• Represent UK interests within global marketing planning and influence global initiatives based on regional insight.

• Foster a high-performance, commercially focused culture across all UK-aligned marketing resources.

What you will bring to Ensono

• 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience within B2B technology, consulting, or professional services environments.

• Demonstrated success driving measurable pipeline growth and revenue contribution in close partnership with enterprise sales teams.

• Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to translate marketing investment into tangible business outcomes and demonstrate ROI.

• Experience designing and scaling Account-Based Marketing programs targeting enterprise and named accounts.

• Proven capability in aligning marketing strategy to complex, multi-motion go-to-market environments.

• Experience operating within matrixed, global organizations, influencing stakeholders across regional and functional boundaries.

• Ability to balance brand-building initiatives with disciplined performance marketing execution.

• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable using data and insight to shape strategy and drive continuous improvement.

• Executive presence and credibility to operate effectively within a regional leadership team and represent marketing at senior forums.

• High levels of accountability, ownership, and delivery focus within fast-paced growth environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
