UI/UX Research Expert

At Quento, we empower our people to innovate and lead in delivering transformative ICT solutions to our clients worldwide. Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced UI/UX Research Expert to support the UI/UX design.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and conduct UX research activities to support the evolution of the Portal;
• Collect user needs and expectations using qualitative and quantitative research methods, including surveys, user interviews, usability testing, and observational studies;
• Analyse and synthesise research data into clear UX findings, evidence‑based recommendations, and outcome reports;
• Identify user experience issues and opportunities, propose improvements, and support their implementation;
• Collaborate closely with Analysts to support solution requirement elicitation through validated user insights;
• Work closely with the software development team to ensure research findings are properly interpreted and implemented;
• Support the evaluation and validation of information architecture, navigation structures, and user interfaces;
• Translate research insights into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to support testing and validation;
• Contribute to and support the application of UI/UX guidelines, usability standards, and best practices;
• Coordinate activities related to web accessibility and multi‑device user experience;
• Support usability testing and validation of responsive and cross‑platform interfaces;
• Collaborate across stakeholders to identify current and upcoming UX research needs that drive portal definition and business objectives.

Requirements:
• University degree in Computer Science, or related field;
• Solid understanding of information architecture, interaction design, and UI/UX principles;
• Minimum 9 years of experience of professional focus in UI/UX design, primarily related to web-based applications;
• Strong ability to understand business goals and translate them into effective design solutions;
• Proven expertise in UI/UX design, with solid graphic design and artistic skills;
• Good understanding of web front-end technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and the relevant frameworks for web/mobile friendly applications;
• Ability to create responsive designs;
• Good understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks;
• Knowledge of IT standards and industry best practice (e.g. Nielsen Norman);

Required proficiency in Information technologies:

• Excellent knowledge in UI/UX design;
• Excellent knowledge in software used in graphical design (e.g. Adobe family);
• Excellent command of the English language.
