As a UI/UX Designer at Tripco, you’ll be part of a close-knit Product & Engineering team, designing user-friendly experiences across our web and mobile platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems, bring new features to life, and help evolve our design system to ensure consistency and scalability as we grow.
Responsibilities:
• Design with purpose: Craft thoughtful, user-friendly experiences across our web and mobile apps, ensuring both form and function are considered.
• Build and evolve our design system: You’ll play a key role in creating a scalable design foundation that supports our growing product and team.
• Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with engineering, marketing, product, and leadership to solve complex problems and bring features to life.
• Champion consistency: Help bring a cohesive visual language to our platforms and documentation, aligning design decisions with brand and usability goals.
• Master your tools: Use Figma to its full potential and help establish best practices for the team. You don’t have to be an expert yet – but you should be eager to become one.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in product, UI, or UX design.
• Well-versed in Figma, with a strong understanding of best practices and efficient workflows.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design thinking, systems thinking, and craft across multiple digital products.
• Experience or a strong interest in building and maintaining design systems.
• Curiosity and empathy for users, with a desire to validate your work through user research and testing.
• A passion for creating scalable and reusable design solutions that benefit both users and teams.
• Comfortable communicating and collaborating with a wide range of people – from developers to directors.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with at least two in-office days per week.
Nice to Haves:
• Past experience in the e-commerce and/or the online travel industry
• Exposure to branding and visual identity
• Basic experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
