Job Description:
Position Summary:
The UI Developer is responsible for implementation of visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. It includes collaboration with both front-end and back-end developers to build all client-side logic.

Responsibilities include:
• Taking ownership of the UI for the client’s internal and external web applications
• Development of new user-facing features
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Assurance that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
• Collaboration with other team members and stakeholders
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Education Experience:
Minimum Bachelors of Science in one or more of the following: Engineering, Information Systems/Management, Operations Management/Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related sciences (or commensurate professional experience).

Skills Required:
• Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds
• Solid experience in at least one modern JavaScript frameworks (like AngularJS or ReactJS)
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, and partial page updates
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
• Familiarity with JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js
• HTML5 and CSS3
• Working with REST APIs
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
