UAV Field Technician (f/m/d)

TYTAN is a young deep-tech defense startup that develops a cost-effective counter-drone solution to protect people and critical infrastructure. We are an international team of ambitious engineers who combine expertise in autonomous systems and UAV design.

We are looking for a UAV Field Technician to join our team and support our flight testing operations. As a UAV Field Tech, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of ground control systems (GCS) and UAV systems during flight testing. Your role will involve hands-on technical support, ensuring flight test infrastructure is prepared and maintained for seamless operations.

Your roadmap to make an impact:
• Assist the flight test team by providing technical support for UAV operations during field testing.
• Set up and configure UAV systems, including Ground Control Stations (GCS), to ensure readiness for testing.
• Take ownership of the flight test infrastructure, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and operational.
• Support the setup and maintenance of flight test operations in the field, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with engineers and flight test personnel to ensure safe and successful flight testing.
• Ensure adherence to operational protocols and safety standards during flight operations.

Who you are:
• Prior experience with UAV systems and flight testing is essential.
• A background in military operations or a similar high-pressure, technical environment will be highly beneficial.
• Experience with model RC aircraft flying or UAV systems is highly preferred.
• Ability to work in dynamic environments and handle technical challenges on-site.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
