JOB Description:
Assembly & Integration
Assemble multirotor UAV platforms as per Mechanical and Electrical drawings
Integrate Propulsion systems (Motors, ESCs, Propellers), Power systems, Avionics, payloads, and Communication Modules
Perform wiring harnessing, Soldering, crimping and cable management as per Aviation-Grade practices
Integrate Flight controllers (Pixhawk, Cube, proprietary controllers, etc.) and peripherals (GPS, Telemetry, RC, Cameras, Sensors)
Configuration & Calibration
Configure Autopilot firmware (PX4 / ArduPilot or equivalent)
Perform Sensor calibration (IMU, Compass)
Tune PID Parameters for stable and efficient flight performance
Configure Failsafes, Geofencing and Flight Modes.
Testing & Validation
Conduct bench tests, subsystem-level tests and system integration tests
Perform ground tests including Vibration Analysis, Power consumption and Thermal checks
Plan and execute flight tests (Hover, Endurance, Range, Payload and Environmental testing)
Analyze flight logs (.bin/.ulg) to identify and resolve performance or safety issues
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Diagnose and resolve Electrical, mechanical, and software integration issues
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for failures observed during testing or field operations
Maintain and repair UAVs and Ground Control equipment
Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and maintain Assembly manuals, Integration checklists and test procedures
Document test results, deviations and corrective actions
Support regulatory and Certification activities (DGCA Type Certification, internal quality audits, etc.)
Ensure adherence to safety, quality and operational standards
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Design, Firmware, QA and operations teams
Provide feedback to Design teams for Design-For-Assembly (DFA) and Design-For-Test (DFT)
Support Pilot training and field deployment teams when required
