Turret Slitter Operator – 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Our site in Miamisburg produces stock and custom labels, tags, tickets, and printed products used by major logistics, food, and retail brands.
What You’ll Do
After 30 days of formal job training, you’ll run turret slitting equipment that converts large rolls of printed material into finished rolls. Tasks include:
• Reading and interpreting order specs and materials before setup
• Performing complete machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments
• Running the machine to spec — individually or as part of a setup team
• Installing cores and threading material through the slitter
• Monitoring slit quality, roll tension, and cut accuracy
• Labeling and packaging finished rolls for the next step
• Assisting teammates to hit production targets
You’ll work with teammates, group leaders, and quality teams daily. This is a hands-on, active job that requires attention to detail and frequent communication.
Shift & Schedule
• 2nd shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Work week: Sunday through Thursday
• Mandatory and voluntary overtime available
 
Who We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or GED
• Can do basic math (including decimals and percentages)
• Comfortable using metric and imperial units
• Knows how to read a tape measure and ruler
• Experience with production machines, measurement tools, or similar hands-on work
• Can lift 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and follow detailed procedures
