Turbine was founded on the premise that a predictive, computational model of biology would revolutionize drug discovery much like computer aided design software transformed engineering.

Our growing team of biologists, data scientists and software developers has spent the last years building this model, allowing researchers to design and refine therapies before running years of biological experiments. Through millions of simulated experiments, Turbine finds the shortest, safest route for new therapies to reach patients, enabling researchers to focus their resources on fighting disease in the most efficient way possible.

We’re looking for a bioinformatician with strong experience in data scientist/bioinformatician with expertise in data science/data scientist to support Turbine’s drug discovery pipeline we’re building to fight cancer.
The team ensures the stability and data-consistency of the production cell simulation system. This involves the data transforming process to our relational database with the appropriate version-branching design, and the orchestration of the simulation engine. Also supporting the underlying architecture - containing the workflow mechanism, the software components - for our research users is an important part of our day-to-day work.
