Responsibilities:

Design and create tables, views, triggers, partitions, complex stored procedures, functions, indexes and other database objects

Support extracting and transforming data using DTS/SSIS Import Export Data, Bulk Insert, BCP and DTS/SSIS Packages

Develop custom reports using SSRS 2008 and SSRS 2012 (SQL Server Reporting Services)

Configures automated proactive and reactive monitoring of database systems

Analyze database and system response time and determine optimization and tuning recommendation to improve performance

Document processes and procedures for development and workflow needs

Ensure that Data Lifecycle is upheld for active, inactive, and restored Databases

Govern security, configuration, and change of Database Systems

Evaluates technology and techniques to implement and maintain databases and database environment

Required Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

2-5 years’ experience with TSQL including dynamic SQL

Significant experience in SSIS/SSRS development

Significant and recent development experience with SQL Server 2008 and 2012.

Ability to work with Database Team on best practices and abiding coding standards

Ability to remain calm and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Excellent communication skills
