We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Lévis, Quebec for a temporary truck mechanic internship on the evening shift.
The truck mechanic intern assists mechanics in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy vehicles (trucks, trailers, equipment). He learns to work on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems while complying with safety standards and workshop procedures.
What you’re responsible for:
• Support the maintenance team in carrying out work;
• Prepare, clean, inspect, and lubricate mechanical parts;
• Perform mechanical assembly of certain parts;
• Carry out equipment greasing under supervision;
• Ensure proper use and good functioning of company equipment;
• Complete work orders by recording tasks performed and materials used;
• Keep the workplace clean and safe;
• Work safely and in accordance with the company's HSE policies and procedures;
• Perform all other related tasks.
