Reports to: Office Manager
Location: Asheville, NC

You’re the bridge between the clinical team and the patient experience, bringing clarity, empathy, and calm to conversations that can feel overwhelming. This role is a great fit for someone who builds trust easily and helps patients move from “What does this mean?” to “I feel good about my next step.”
What You’ll Do
Receive clear handoffs from providers after exams
Walk patients through treatment plans using plain language, visuals, and scans
Answer questions and confirm understanding
Guide patients toward timely decisions without sales tactics
Review insurance, estimates, and payment options with confidence and care
Promote care delivered, not care delayed
Ensure every patient leaves with a clear next step
Track unscheduled treatment and follow up consistently
Document conversations and coordinate closely with the front desk and clinical team
Share patient feedback and help improve workflows and patient flow
What We’re Looking For
Experience in dental, healthcare, or patient coordination preferred
Strong communication and people skills
Comfortable discussing finances with empathy and clarity
Organized, reliable, and strong with follow-through
Positive, solution-focused, and calm under pressure
Familiarity with dental software like Dentrix, Curve, or Open Dental is a plus
