TreasuryONE is seeking a Treasury System Implementation Consultant to join our growing Treasury Technologies team. This role is ideal for professionals with at least two years’ experience in financial systems, ERP implementation, business analysis, or structured project delivery who want to build deep expertise in Treasury Management Systems — a scarce and highly transferable skills in South Africa.
Many of our strongest consultants did not start their careers in treasury.
We value strong analytical ability, structured thinking, and professional client engagement, and we invest heavily in developing these skills into treasury system implementation expertise.
Role Overview
You will work as part of project teams delivering Treasury Management System implementations for corporate clients. This includes supporting client workshops, configuring and testing systems, guiding users through UAT and go-live, and ensuring solutions are delivered accurately and consistently.
You will work on platforms such as IT2 and TreasuryXpress, gaining exposure to treasury operations, bank connectivity, and integrations with ERPs and other financial systems. The environment is fast-paced, disciplined, and client-facing, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, accountability, and delivery quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Configure and test Treasury Management System modules including cash management, forecasting, payments, FX, and risk
• Translate business and technical requirements into structured system configuration and design steps
• Support client workshops, UAT, and go-live activities with clear, methodical guidance
• Track tasks against agreed project plans and provide accurate progress updates • Prepare configuration, testing, and handover documentation
• Work closely with clients and internal specialists to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery
Experience & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of two years’ relevant work experience in one or more of the following:
– Financial or ERP system implementation (e.g. SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Sage)
– Business analysis, testing, or process design
– FinTech, payments, bank integrations, or financial systems delivery
– Treasury, corporate finance, or finance roles with strong systems exposure
• Practical experience with system configuration, testing, data migration, or integrations
• Comfortable in client-facing environments with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Experience with IT2, TreasuryXpress, Kyriba, or similar systems is advantageous but not required
