Treasury Senior Expert

Apt Resources is looking for an experienced Treasury Senior Expert to join a leading organization in the energy sector in Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will manage the treasury operations while also ensuring optimal liquidity and effective financial risk management across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge in treasury management, cash flow optimization, and financial market dynamics. You will be instrumental in enhancing the financial performance and stability of the organization through strategic treasury initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee cash management processes, ensuring accurate forecasting of liquidity needs and effective cash utilization.
• Develop and execute treasury policies and procedures to optimize financial resources.
• Monitor market trends and economic factors to provide insights related to treasury operations and strategy.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
• Implement risk management strategies to protect the organization from financial uncertainties.
• Prepare reports on cash flow and treasury activities for senior management and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular reviews of banking arrangements and financing structures to ensure compliance with the organization’s financial policies.
• Support the financial planning and budgeting processes by providing treasury-related inputs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and financial strategies.

Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business from a reputable university is required, with an MBA being an advantageous option for candidates.
• 10 years of experience in similar roles in large companies, of which at least 4 years are in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities, demonstrating a strong need for effective leadership skills.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, banking products, and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proven negotiation and relationship management skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English (mandatory) and Arabic (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
• Good understanding of global energy markets and emerging financial trends.
• Familiarity with Qatar and GCC culture and working environment will be a significant advantage.
