Your Purpose

Join the Global Bitso Treasury team to architect the foundations of our future operations. You will play a pivotal role in scaling our treasury functions within a high-growth, dynamic ecosystem, collaborating daily with a diverse, world-class multicultural team.

Who You Are

• Regulatory & Compliance Proficiency: Proven experience navigating KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML frameworks for both traditional Tier-1 banks and digital asset/crypto exchanges.

• Treasury Operations & Cash Management: Expertise in managing multi currency banking structures and global liquidity flows, bank statement integrations and optimize the movement of funds across international rails (SWIFT, SEPA, SPEI)

• Audit Readiness & Management: Demonstrated mastery in acting as the strategic lead for external audits (Big 4 or similar). It is not about only providing documentation, but ensuring the integrity of treasury operations by maintaining bulletproof audit trails, managing complex evidence requests, and upholding 100% compliance with global financial standards

• Accounting Integration: Proficiency in generating and posting journal entries with a deep understanding of how treasury movements impact the general ledger.

• Legal & Corporate Documentation: Strong track record in coordinating complex corporate dossiers and legal mandates to maintain active account status across global jurisdictions.

• Reporting Precision: Ability to translate raw banking data into structured reports for Central Bank authorities and internal stakeholders.

• Treasury Tech Stack & Automation: Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL to architect automated workflows, manage large-scale financial datasets, and leverage AI tools to streamline manual processes such as bank reconciliations, data parsing, and regulatory reporting.

• Cross-Functional Orchestration: Proven ability to synchronize workflows between Finance, Legal, and People teams to ensure seamless payroll and payment execution.

• Process Ownership: A self-starter mindset with a track record of managing bank onboarding end-to-end, from initial contact to final account configuration.

• Operational Rigor: Extreme attention to detail in high-stakes environments, specifically regarding the accuracy of regulatory filings and accounting entries.

• Autonomous Learning & Curiosity: A self-starter with an insatiable curiosity for how things work and a proven ability to autonomously learn new technologies or regulatory frameworks to solve complex problems without constant supervision.

What You Will Do

• Global Onboarding Management: Lead the end-to-end setup of bank accounts and digital asset exchange profiles to support global business expansion.

• Regulatory & Central Bank Reporting: Ensure full compliance with financial authorities by preparing and submitting periodic regulatory reports and KYC documentation.

• Treasury Accounting & Reconciliation: Oversee the daily generation and posting of journal entries and ensure all banking movements are accurately reflected in the company’s systems.

• Audit Liaison: Serve as the focal point for external consulting firms, managing the lifecycle of audit inquiries and evidence submission.

• Cash Flow Execution: Facilitate the secure upload and processing of weekly AP (Accounts Payable) payments and global payroll files.

• Account Lifecycle Maintenance: Monitor and update corporate legal documentation to ensure uninterrupted access to global banking and exchange platforms.

• Data Integrity & Archiving: Manage the daily ingestion and organization of bank statements and financial records to maintain a "single source of truth" for the Treasury department.

• Banking Relationship Management: Act as a strategic bridge between the company and our banking/exchange partners. You will cultivate these relationships to ensure operational excellence while proactively identifying and implementing new financial products and services that drive capital efficiency and support Bitso’s expansion.

Background:

• Bachelor Business Administration, Accounting, Economics

• From 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in Treasury or Financial Departments

• Proven track record on operating multiple bank accounts

• Experience with Audit, Administrative work

• Able to manage confidential information with discretion

• Self-management capabilities, proactive and independent worker

• Highly organized, capable of handling precise and multiple follow ups as each bank requires different documentation

• Team player, able to work closely with compliance and legal teams

• Mission driven with a high sense of urgency

• Proficiency in Excel

• Knowledge in coding using SQL, Python, AI

• Fluent in English and Spanish
