Position Summary
Effectively perform the following general administrative tasks:
Create or maintain a detailed list and schedule of tests and inspections required for the project.
Create and submit monthly Quality Control reports to project leadership.
Maintain records of all test and inspections that have been performed.
Report to corporate headquarters between job assignments
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Effectively coordinate:
Communicate project-specific quality requirements to all affected departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.
Act as the project quality liaison with parties outside the company on matters relating to quality.
Conduct Pre-installation Meetings with Project Management, Field Leadership and Owner Representatives.
Ensuring the availability of necessary resources and information for effective operation of the Lighthouse Electric Quality Systems to persons doing work impacting quality.
Effectively assist with:
Conduct field walks and field inspections on a regular basis.
Identify any deficient work and propose remedial and corrective actions to be taken.
Monitor progress of QC/CX activities and report updates/information back to the necessary QC/CX peers and leaders
Review and approval of project quality-related contract submittals and specifications
Resolve quality nonconformances and report to senior management on performance of the Quality System, including recommendations for improvements.
Confirm permanently installed materials comply with Contract Documents.
Ensure that the Quality System is established and implemented by persons doing work that impacts quality on the project.
Ensure Project Quality is meeting or exceeding all Lighthouse Electric Standards, applicable regulations, codes, industry standards, and manufacturer specifications as well as meeting or exceeding our customers’ contract and individual requirements.
Perform applicable Quality control task training and provide resources to team members that will be completing Quality Control installations, inspections and documentation.
Work Experience:
Required
Ability to:
Read and evaluate specifications and blueprints
A high-level understanding of electrical construction.
Deal effectively with internal team members
Ability to understand other trade’s activities in a project schedule.
Education:
Preferred:
Completion of an Apprenticeship program (NJATC or relevant Electrical program)
A minimum of 5 years relevant electrical construction experience
Attain NFPA 70E Professional certification
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills with proficiency in:
Microsoft Office Suite and related software
Bluebeam
PlanGrid
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Travel Requirements:
Visit various locations (Columbus, Ohio, Richmond, VA, South Bend, Indiana, and all throughout Pennsylvania) on a regular basis or stay at one project for longer durations.
Temporary relocation to another jobsite may be required.
