We are looking for a Crew Leader to lead small field teams on nationwide industrial installation projects, ensuring high-quality execution and on-site coordination. This role is hands-on, requiring daily involvement in mechanical and basic electrical installation work while guiding a crew to meet project timelines. The position is best suited for someone who has progressed from a technician role into light leadership and is comfortable working in travel-heavy environments. This individual will play a key role in delivering successful installations across manufacturing and industrial job sites.
Responsibilities
• Lead and work alongside a field crew of 3–4 team members on installation projects
• Execute installation of industrial equipment, including mechanical assemblies and basic electrical components
• Coordinate daily jobsite activities, materials, and workflow to stay on schedule
• Interpret basic blueprints, layouts, and installation instructions
• Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards
• Communicate progress, issues, and updates to Field Supervisors and leadership
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and adjust work plans as needed
• Train and mentor junior technicians to improve team performance
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role such as Crew Leader, Foreman, or Lead Technician
• Hands-on background in industrial installation, mechanical assembly, or construction-related work
• Experience with electrical components or basic wiring is a strong plus
• Ability to read and understand blueprints or installation drawings
• Comfortable leading small teams while remaining active in the field daily
• Willingness to travel 100% for project-based work, including extended time on-site
• Strong reliability, work ethic, and ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Valid driver’s license required
