Drive the quality of North America’s automotive logistics with Rubicon VLS
Rubicon VLS is a leading provider of comprehensive automotive logistics services across North America. Leveraging advanced web-based logistics tools from parent company ICL, Inc., we specialize in managing the transportation of finished vehicles via rail, truck, and vessel. Our operations span the United States, Canada, and Mexico, ensuring seamless logistical solutions. Additionally, Rubicon oversees the status of vehicles at international ports to provide reliable and efficient service.
We’re looking for a Transportation Quality Manager to support finished vehicle logistics across North America within a fast-paced 3PL automotive environment. This role focuses on identifying transportation damage trends, performing root cause analysis, and working with carriers, storage yards, and assembly plants to implement corrective actions that improve vehicle quality throughout the distribution network.
What You’ll Do
• Monitor and analyze transportation quality performance and damage trends across North America
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans with carriers, yards, and assembly plants
• Lead and support vehicle launch quality activities and test load evaluations
• Participate in carrier onboarding and quality performance reviews
• Execute yard audits to assess damage-handling procedures and process adherence
• Support in‑transit repair processes and track results for continuous improvement
• Work with cross-functional teams across Stellantis and logistics partners to improve network-wide quality outcomes
Requirements:
What You Bring
• 5+ years of experience in automotive logistics, finished vehicle transportation, or related quality roles
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with plants, carriers, and cross‑functional teams
• Strong communication skills and a hands‑on approach to fieldwork and investigations
• Ability to thrive in a high‑volume, fast-paced operational environment
