Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Transportation Insurance Account Manager to their Acentria team.

Job Summary:

The Account Manager plays a critical role in supporting and growing a transportation-focused book of business. Working closely with the Producer, this role leads the service strategy for renewals and new business acquisitions.

The Account Manager manages the full renewal lifecycle, prepares and presents submissions, negotiates terms with carriers, and binds coverage. This position requires deep knowledge of transportation risks, strong carrier relationships, and the ability to independently place risk while ensuring excellent client service.

Essential Functions:

• Develops retention strategy and new business acquisition meetings with producer

• Gathers data from client: applications, loss runs, inspections etc to submit to market

• Works independently of Producers on placement of risk

• Attends marketing and carrier meetings

• Monitors and updates open items checklists/timelines

• Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients/carriers through the daily service of endorsements and general coverage questions

• Communicates with Producer and team regarding client

• Analyzes client data to determine client needs and identify potential exposures

• Answers underwriting questions and help negotiate pricing and products

• Ability to build good working relationships with Producers and team members to work as a part of a team

Competencies & Qualifications:

• Strong organizational, multitasking, problem solving, detail oriented, verbal, written, and self-discipline skills

• Proficient in insurance agency management software (EPIC) and Microsoft products

Education & Experience:

• Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty insurance license preferred

• College degree or equivalent work experience

• 4-5 years agency experience, with a minimum of 2 years working with transportation accounts
