Job Description

US - San Antonio, TX (On-site)
£80,000 - £140,000 per annum

Kinekta are currently partnered with a growing engineering firm that provides engineering services for power infrastructure, T&D and utilities across the US. They are searching for a Transmission Line Engineer to join their team that will focus on the design and construction for transmission lines for various projects, including renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed engineering and design for overhead transmission line projects (4kV to 500kV) from conceptualization to construction.
Design underground transmission lines ranging from 69kV to 230kV.
Develop detailed cost estimates and probable cost assessments, even with limited project details.
Prepare construction and material specifications, along with scope documents for tenders and contracts.
Act is the primary liaison with clients, contractors, and permitting agencies while coordinating across disciplines.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience related to transmission line design
Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering
P.E. license in the state of Texas is preferred.
Valid driver's license
