The Transload Operator's primary responsibility is to safely and timely transload sulfuric acid from a train railcar into a tanker trailer. It is expected that the Transload Operator will have the ability to understand and follow operating procedures and policies.
Hourly Pay + OT + Bonus = APPLY NOW..$$
Hourly Pay is $22/hr (DOE)

Job Requirements:
Valid Driver License
Minimum 18 Years of age
No more than 2 moving violations within the previous 3 years
Ability to pass a controlled substance test at pre-employment
Prior transloading experience is highly preferred
General knowledge of railroad operations & familiarity with brake systems on railcars, preferred
Mechanical abilities to troubleshoot and isolate malfunctions preferred
Successful respirator physical, and respirator fit test
Authorized access to Freeport McMoRan Inc. (FMI)
Meet minimum background check requirements for FMI
Summary of Job Duties
Work 10-12 hour shifts at least 5 days a week
The shift may vary between day or night, but is consistent for the entire week
Responsible for overseeing safe and efficient rail operations while unloading
Maintain a safe work environment
Ability to respond to an incident or accident
Climb up and down the transloader throughout the day
Inspect, service, and troubleshoot faulty mechanical equipment
Work outside during extreme temperatures and inclement weather
Communicate with Dispatch, Drivers, customers, and Terminal manager
Handle stressful situations, make quick decisions, and react efficiently & safely
Report when railcars are empty and require switching out
Occasional work at our Port of Tucson and other various customer sites/locations
Mechanical abilities to troubleshoot and isolate malfunction - Water system to supply eyewash and shower stations, generator, compressor
Operation of basic hand tools
Other duties as assigned

Ability to lift, carry, pull, push and or move up to 80lbs
Twisting, stretching, reaching, squatting, crawling on hands and knees & kneeling
Consistent climbing of stairs and/or ladders, working at elevations of 20 feet above the ground
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Conduct tasks while wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
Wear a face respirator and additional PPE when required while performing tasks
Other configurations of PPE are required at all times while on mine and/or customer property
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) requirements:
PPE is required and must be worn in accordance with company policy and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for each worksite. PPE is typically issued by our safety department and may include but is not limited to:
• Hard hat with face shield
• Goggles/Spoggles
• Gloves
• Long sleeve shirt
• Reflective vest
• Hearing protection
• Respirator Mask (varies according to the worksite)
• Steel toe boots (not supplied by CTI)
Acid operations are outside in the elements and require a chemical resistant acid suit, rubber gloves, rubber boots, along with a full face respirator and any other required PPE to be worn at all times while in a “Hot Zone”.
Respirators: CTI employees are required to wear a full and/or half-mask respirator for any job task that requires a respirator. Respirators (PPE) are distributed by CTI and are used to protect employees from those occupational hazards caused by breathing contaminated air (harmful dust, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors). All CTI employees who are required to wear a respirator must be clean-shaven daily and in compliance with respirator protocols at all times.
