Translator/Interpreter

We're looking for an in-house language professional dedicated to producing high-quality translations, providing interpreting support, and using their skills in an international setting. You might be the language expert we're looking for.

This role is hybrid - Based in Budapest

As an in-house translator, you will be expected to:

• Translate clinical trial/medical documentation as well as business correspondence and technical documents pertaining to the activities of company departments
• Localize and customize translations to meet regulatory requirements
• Edit, proofread, and review translated documents
• Develop translation templates for routine/standard documentation
• Act as an interdepartmental liaison in matters related to the editing and review of translated documents
• Interpret at meetings/conferences, if required

• University degree in Foreign Languages (English) / Linguistics (Translation and/or Interpreting Studies is a plus)
• Proficiency in a second foreign language is a plus
• Professional training and/or certification in Translation is a plus
• Hands-on experience in English - Hungarian translation
• Medical & healthcare translation experience is a plus
• C2 level in English and native Hungarian
• Strong writing skills; excellent grammar and spelling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to use CAT tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
• Attention to detail, ability to provide accurate and complete translations within set timeframes
