Established in 2002, ib vogt GmbH is specialized in the Development, Design and Engineering, Financing, EPC and Operation of solar power and provides turnkey solar power plant solutions to investors internationally.

As a manufacturer-independent integrated developer, the company focuses on tailor-made solar power plant solutions that maximize lifecycle performance and returns.

Since 2009, ib vogt has commissioned plants with a capacity of almost 2 Gigawatt. We employ over 840 specialists, in all areas of the solar power plant value chain in over 40 countries. The company operates internationally from offices in Spain Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Poland, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Panama, India, and South East Asia.

This is a key role within the Tax department, taking charge of one of the four key pillars of the Global Tax Function. Under the direction of the Group Head of Tax, the Transfer Pricing Team Lead is responsible for transfer pricing policy, implementation, documentation and global compliance with OECD and TP rules. 

• Development and maintenance of the global TP Policy
• Development of a TP Operating Model and roll-out of the model across the group
• Definition and implementation of appropriate TP governance framework, including quarterly monitoring of intercompany margins
• Own compliance with TP documentation requirements across the group
• Provide ongoing commercially focussed TP support to business, becoming a key business partner to them
• Support the Group Head of Tax on divisional and regional tax matters (reorganization, restructuring, M&A, tax audits) with TP technical expertise as appropriate
• Own the ib vogt response to emerging TP-related issues such as CbCR and Pillar II.  Ensure timely impact assessment and communication internally as well as the implementation of appropriate operational procedures to comply with such regimes
• Support the Group Strategic Funds Flow Committee/ Group Treasury
• Define profitability targets in line with the applicable TP method and support the global target setting process including true-ups/down
• Act as a functional leader in TP matters within the group

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, professional accounting/tax qualification
• 10+ years of tax experience in both a big4 and industry environment and significant transfer pricing experience in a multinational context
• Excellent transfer pricing technical skills which are deployed with a commercial mindset
• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Ability to provide succinct, practical and timely advice to the business
• Excellent understanding of international tax concepts and a proficient understanding of general corporation tax concepts
• Extensive experience of managing conflicting priorities/deadlines
• Experience of managing people
• Attention to detail paired with the ability to see the bigger picture of tax and organizational goals
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); German language is an advantage
