Transactional Liability/M&A Insurance Analyst

Job Spec
Mosaic’s Transactional Liability/M&A division is looking for analysts to join our team in New York to work on M&A, tax, and contingent liability insurance placements.
Responsibilities
Managing workflow on deal opportunities that contemplate use of representations & warranties, tax or contingent liability insurance, including assisting in managing the underwriting process and negotiating confidentiality agreements, non-reliance letters, and other ancillary documentation
Analyzing mergers and acquisitions-related documents, including reviewing financial statements, business background information and purchase agreements, and researching issues related to M&A transactions
Preparing quotes and policy documents for insurance of M&A, tax and contingent liability transactions
Collaboration with marketing team to develop materials and presentations
Coordinating and communicating with insurance brokers, lawyers, and clients
Skills, Experience and Education
Undergraduate degree required
Experience with M&A, insurance sector, or other financial institutions or advisors preferred
Self-starter
Intellectual curiosity
Comfortable in fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other enterprise software tools required

The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. The salary this position is $80,000 - $100,000.
