Transaction Services – Functional and Automation Tester

Role Summary

Role Description

We are looking for functional and automation QA to work exclusively on State Street’s proprietary Transaction Services applications .

Candidate Should

• collaborate with peers on cross functional teams (primarily agile) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Understanding business requirements and defining test strategies for software applications.
• Develop and maintain Test plan, Test cases, Test data, Test backups and other SQA artifacts.
• Perform Integration, System, Regression, Compatibility and User acceptance testing phases.
• Participate in daily Agile standups, iteration planning, product demos and application walkthroughs.
• Maintaining and tracking the test deliverables in test management tool.
• Expertise in creating and executing test scripts via automation tools.
• Collaborate with business and development team in delivering the work items without ambiguity.
• Replicating the production defects in lower environments.

Core/Must have skills

Candidate should have 5+ years of experience in Functional Testing

Prior work experience in Financial domain is a must.

Strong Functional and application testing skillset.

Knowledge in writing SQL queries.

Proficiency with different Automation tools (selenium with java) and capability of executing test cases via automation tools.
